Temperature itself measures change, be it through transition or a passage of time or season; a high or a low, a warming, a cooling, a melting, or a freezing. We may  also see it as representative of emotion as it exhibits intensity, sensitivity, and fluctuation. And in the most prevalent sense, temperature serves as a marker for the changes human action and negligence poses to the planet and how it has and will physically materialize.

“Temperature rising” is a conversation between the literal and figurative; the way we look at change through the lens of the delicate yet extreme spectrum on which temperature exists, and how we monitor its progression towards and within the destabilization of our climate.
